When you Select "VIEW GIS MAP" a Map Viewer will draw a Map with the Selected Marker
highlighted in the center. Attributes (ID, Title, Location and County) for that Marker will be displayed in the
Selected Marker(s) Pane on the Right side of the Viewer. The Identify Feature is selected for you by
default. Below is an Explanation of the Available Map Tools displayed across the top of the
Viewer for your use.

ZOOM IN icon. When you select this icon your cursor will allow you to draw a box around
a selected area of the Map. The Map will ZOOM IN to that area.

ZOOM OUT icon. When you select this icon and either click on the Map or draw a box the Map will
ZOOM-OUT to approximately twice the scale of the existing map.

RECENTER icon. When you select this icon your cursor will allow you to RECENTER the Map to the point you select.

IDENTIFY icon. When you select this icon, and click on any other Historical Highway Marker
that may appear on your Map, the Attributes (ID, Title, Location and County) for that Marker will be displayed in the
Selected Marker(s) Pane on the Right side of the Viewer. The Marker ID attribute displayed in the
Selected Marker(s) Pane is a Hyper-Link that will bring you to the Detail Marker Page for that Marker.

PRINT icon. When selected this icon will give you a printer friendly display of the current Map.

HELP icon. When selected the "Tips for Using GIS Maps" page will be displayed.

icon. When clicked you will be returned to the Detail Marker page that you originally came from.

icon. When clicked you the Map will ZOOM OUT to the Full State Map.
